Lammert 260Lammert 260

Character, forward moving gaits, and excellence in movement are traits that describe Lammert and the stamp he puts on his offspring well. Lammert 260 served the Friesian breed for more than 20 years. He sadly passed away in January 2003, but is still available by frozen semen through Old Corner Stables. If you like the baroque style of Friesians, we strongly advise you to obtain the last straws of frozen Lammert semen now. Only a very limited amount is available. Frozen semen can be used for many years to come.

The grey hair in the pictures is of old age (Lammert turned 28 the year he passed away) and are not considered white markings.

Lammert was a 1st premium stallion, and in 1981, 1983, and 1984 he was FPS Champion Stallion, and in 1982 and 1985 he was Reserve Champion Stallion at the FPS Stallion Inspections. After these years he was standing at stud in Germany and France, so he was not able to attend the FPS Stallion Inspections during those times.

Lammert stems from a line loaded with predicates. He belongs to the small Age-line, making him a valuable choice for many breeders. Lammert has sired many Ster mares as well as Model mares. He is also registered as the sire of many great stallionmothers. Lammert was the first Friesian stallion ever to be shown in upper level dressage: he showed at Z-level (3rd/ 4th level) dressage in the Netherlands. His offspring displays excellent gaits too, and many of his offspring do extremely well not only in dressage, but also in driving classes at high levels.

Lammert's Tetman-free bloodlines as well as the baroque look (very thick feathers, big mane and tail, great "bone") make him a good choice for many Friesian mares. He stamps his offspring with the oldfashioned Friesian looks that have made Friesians famous. He also produces offspring with the comfortable gaits that the riders/ drivers of Friesian horses admire.

Availability
Lammert 260 is available by frozen semen at Old Corner Stables. It can be sent to you or your veterinarian. Frozen semen can be ordered at any time, and be stored at your (veterinarian's) facility until the time is right for your mare.

Nanning 374.Nanning 374

Nanning 374 is a very tall and beautiful Friesian stallion, standing at about 16.2h. Nanning has been approved on offspring in 2003.

His bloodlines are a combination of the famous late Teunis, and the Preferent stallion Feitse. Nanning stems from the oldest Friesian mare line, stam 2.
In 1999 Nanning passed his stallion performance testing in the Netherlands, and was licensed for breeding at the age of 3. Every year, he has been awarded with a 1st premium at the FPS stallion inspections, the highest premium a stallion can receive. In 2000 he even ranked first in his class of young stallions at the FPS stallion show. Nanning was approved on offspring in 2003, with great comments about his offspring.

Nanning is a gorgeous and tall Friesian stallion, with a lot of expression. It is easy to recognize the influence of the 2 best Friesian stallions in him, Teunis and Feitse (Pref). His long front legs, beautiful carriage and his height clearly come from Teunis. His powerful hindquarters are Feitse's inheritance.

Nanning also passes these positive traits to his offspring. They have eye-catching looks with a lot of expression, long frontlegs (much needed in most Friesians), and great carriage with excellent rise in their front end. They are great movers as well, and many of Nanning's foals have received 1st premiums at the inspections.

His semen is of excellent quality, resulting in foals born all over the world. For example, the Canadian Champion was by Nanning.

Availability
Nanning 374 is available by frozen semen at Old Corner Stables. It can be sent to you or your veterinarian. Frozen semen can be ordered at any time, and be stored at your (veterinarian's) facility until the time is right for your mare.

Fabe 348.Fabe 348

Fabe is a beautiful stallion from the small Age line, known for its performance genes. Fabe has been approved on offspring in 2001, with a great offspring report. He produces offspring with a strong topline, a beautiful blueblack color, and thick feathers. His offspring is also noticed for their excellent gaits, especially the powerful, rhythmic trot and the nice way the horses carry themselves (with very good use of hindleg). The percentage of his offspring that has received the Ster predicate is higher than what is average for his age group. The "white %" of his offspring is extremely low, another great trait of Fabe.

Fabe is the sire of Sape 381, the 2001 Champion Stallion and 2002 Reserve Champion Stallion. He also is the sire of Tije 401, approved in 2002.

Fabe makes a great partner for a variety of mares, with very desirable bloodlines according to the FPS judges. His bloodlines result in a low inbreeding percentage with the majority of mares. He is also very suitable for adding more height and performance potential to mares. Click here for an overview of Fabe 348's linear scoring form of offspring.

Fabe has a high foaling percentage and his frozen semen is available to American breeders through Old Corner Stables.

Performance
Fabe has always received a 1st premium at the FPS Stallion Inspections and been selected for the Champion Class. He was Reserve Champion Stallion in 2000.

He has been approved on offspring. He has produced 2 FPS approved stallions, and a large number of Ster mares. He has also produced a son who received the highest scores for the FPS Talent Test (ABFP) ever. He performs at 3rd/ 4th level dressage himself and is in training for FEI dressage shows. He is an excellent dressage as well as driving horse.

Bloodlines
Fabe stems from the Age line. His sire is Melle 311, the FPS approved stallion that performed at the highest level in dressage. He showed very succesfully at 4th level (Z-2 dressage) and was Champion Stallion in 1996. Fabe's dam Kee Ster is a daughter of Romke 234, the wellknown performance stallion. Fabe's mareline (Romke x Ulrig x Jabik) is free of Tetman influence, making him very suitable for many Friesian mares.

Feitse 293 is the only living Preferent Friesian stallion!

Feitse 293 was approved for FPS breeding in 1991, and registered with very high scores for his performance testing (8s for basic gaits, and 9s for character and trainability!). Feitse not only impresses with his sons, his daughters are of superb quality of well: 51,4% has received the Ster predicate, with 9 even receiving the Model predicate. His high number of Ster and Model mares, the quality of his sons, and the great show records of his offspring were reason for the FPS judges to award Feitse with the Preferent predicate.

This great stallion produces offspring that ranks high at FPS inspections, as well as in (show)driving and dressage competitions. Feitse's offspring is in high demand for both dressage and (show)driving, thanks to the excellence in gaits, rideability and overall pleasant disposition of his offspring. His son Fetse 349 was National Champion in a "3-clover" team with Olof and Nanno, in front of the sjees. Many more of his offspring perform at the highest level of showdriving ("Ereklasse Tuigen"). In dressage he is well represented at 4th level by Rypke 321, Tsjerk 328, Folkert 353, Feike 395 (in USA), and many more talented horses.

Tsjerk provides his offspring with a modern type, impressive gaits, and pretty faces. He is a beautiful stallion himself, and passes his qualities on to his offspring, very consistently. His sons and daughters have received numerous 1st premiums and many championships have been won by Tsjerk offspring.

Tsjerk has always received a 1st premium, and been selected to compete in the Champion Stallion class at the Stallion Inspections. During his performance testing he was noted to be an honest and energetic stallion with a good work attitude. His trot shows off a very powerful hindleg. He displays talent for both dressage and (show)driving.

This stallion pairs superb conformation with eye-catching expression, as well as powerful gaits. His linear scoring form of offspring shows that he currently belongs to the elite group of top producer of excellent conformation in Friesian horses. This is also expressed in the high number of champion horses at breeding days and FPS inspections in the Netherlands with Tsjerk as their sire.

Tsjerk's dam is the famous Wijkje Model Pref Prest (by Nanne 197). Wijkje's dam is Wietsche Ster Pref. This mareline is wellknown for producing powerful hindquarters.
